Sign up and register for the AWS DeepRacer Student and opt into the AWS AI & ML Scholarship program. Here, there is currently over 20 hours of free content available for you to start learning today.

Track your progress for the AWS Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Scholarship program requirements while you study, practice, and participate in AWS DeepRacer Student.

After the application, submit your application on Udacity using a unique code you’ll get once you complete all the prerequisites.

Deadline Milestones

April 11, 2026: Opening registration for the AWS AI & ML Scholarship applications opens on AWS DeepRacer Student. You can learn, practice, and participate by completing prerequisites to unlock your unique code to finish up your application.

July 13, 2026: The First round of applications closes on Udacity- 1,000 successful students will be selected to receive a scholarship, and the second stage of applications opens on July 14.

July 27, 2026: Udacity NanoDegree 1: At this point, the AI Programming with Python program summer cohort begins.

Track all your progress to earn your scholarship

Learn:

Achieve an all 80% or even better on all learning section quizzes on AWS DeepRacer Student while learning about the foundations of Machine Learning.

Practice:

At this time, apply your new skill set and train an AWS DeepRacer model. You will receive 10 hours of model training and 5GB of storage for all for free each month.

Participate:

Here, you have to submit your model to the AWS DeepRacer Student League with the aim of completing a lap in under 3 minutes.
