MEST exclusively offers an Africa-wide technology entrepreneurship training programme, internal seed funding, and a setup of hubs providing nurture for technology start-ups in Africa. It was founded in Ghana in 2008. MEST offers critical skills training, capital, and support in software development, business, and communications to Africa’s tech entrepreneurs.
ABOUT MEST FREE TRAINING PROGRAMME
Training Hubs are situated in Accra, Ghana; Lagos, Nigeria; Cape Town, South Africa; and Nairobi, Kenya. To date, MEST has trained over 800 young African tech entrepreneurs from across the continent and financed over 80 startups across industries from SaaS and consumer internet to eCommerce, Digital Media, Agritech, Fintech, and Healthcare IT. MEST is primarily funded by the Meltwater Foundation, the non-profit arm of Meltwater, a global leader in media intelligence and Outside Insight.
Value of MEST Africa Training: The MEST Training Program is fully funded and requires no financial contribution from participants to MEST. This is a full-time program that requires you to be available to attend all classes and sessions.
