UNILAG Admission Requirements

Requirements for Undergraduate Admission: In order to be evaluated for undergraduate admission to Unilag, candidates must fulfill the subsequent prerequisites:

Candidates for Olevel Results must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English and Mathematics.

Language, in a maximum of two (2) sessions. There are courses that call for a certain combination of subjects.

UTME candidates are required to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and receive a minimum score of 200.

Examination (UTME) Post-UTME: To be eligible for admission, applicants must also take part in the Unilag Post-UTME Screening exercise and receive a passing score.

• Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years old by October 31 of the application year.

Postgraduate Admission Requirements: To be considered for postgraduate admission at Unilag, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must have at least a Second Class Lower Division Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Academic Transcript: Candidates must submit an official transcript from the prior school(s) showing their academic standing.

NYSC: Applicants who graduated from Nigerian universities must have completed the mandatory National Youth service Corps (NYSC) program or acquired a certificate of exemption.

Entrance Exam: Depending on the course of study, applicants may be required to take either an entrance exam or an interview.

UNILAG Hostel Accommodations
